Fundraising with The Red Tin - How It Works
Running a successful shirt fundraiser is simple—and we’re here to guide you every step of the way. Whether you're raising money for a team, school, or individual athlete, this process is designed to be fast, effective, and stress-free.
Step 1: Choose Your Launch Date
Pick the date you want to kick off your fundraiser. This gives your team a clear window to collect sponsors and get organized. We recommend giving participants 7–10 days to gather names.
Step 2: Promote Your Fundraiser
We’ll send you custom social media flyers and a step-by-step how-to guide that each participant can follow to hit their sponsorship goals. These materials are designed to be shared digitally—perfect for parents, athletes, or coaches to post and send out quickly.
Note: We do not create private team pages or online stores. All donations and payments are collected directly by each participant and handled separately from R&S Drug.
Step 3: Submit Sponsor Names
Each participant must fill out and submit a Final Fundraiser Form with the list of their sponsor names exactly as they should appear on the shirt. Names will be printed exactly as submitted—so double-check spelling before sending!
Step 4: We Send an Invoice
Once all Final Fundraiser Forms are received, we’ll calculate your total, send you an invoice, and prepare your custom order. All invoices must be paid in full before production begins.
Step 5: Production & Delivery
Once payment is received, we begin printing. Typical turnaround is 10–14 business days from that point. All shirts will be delivered in bulk to the organizer for distribution.
Fundraiser FAQs
Q: How much does it cost to participate in the fundraiser?
Each participant pays a flat fee of $59, which covers:
1 custom shirt with their name and sponsor list
Design, print setup, and proofing
Individual packaging
Shipping and taxes
Promotional flyers and marketing tools
If your group has fewer than 10 participants, the fee is $99 per person.
Q: How much money can we raise?
It depends on how many sponsors each participant gathers. The more names on the shirt, the higher the profit. See the table below for common scenarios.
Q: Who collects the sponsor payments?
Each participant is responsible for collecting and managing their own donations. R&S Drug does not collect or process any money from sponsors.
Q: How do I submit my sponsor names?
Participants will receive a Final Fundraiser Form to list all sponsor names. These names will be printed exactly as entered, so please check for spelling and formatting before submitting.
Q: Can friends or family order a shirt too?
Yes! Additional shirts can be ordered for $25 each (sizes 2XL and up are $30). These orders raise 30% profit per shirt and must be submitted alongside the Final Fundraiser Form.
Q: When will we receive our shirts?
Shirts are printed and shipped within 10–14 business days of invoice payment. All shirts are delivered to the organizer for distribution.
